I’d imagine you’re wondering what this challenge is all about. 🙂 Well, let me begin by explaining that the spiritual meaning of the number 3 is “promise”. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, God has made some specific promises to me. Despite knowing what He has shown me, waiting can be more difficult some days than others, and He knows that. So, in God’s grace and faithfulness, He surrounds me with reassurance that He has not forgotten what He showed me many years ago. One of those ways is through the #3…primarily through the numbers 33 and 333. God has been so creative though the years in the places that He will have me see “333”, but by far the most common way is through the time 3:33.
This past weekend my friend and I went up to the cabin to work; she had her projects and I had mine. I already had it in the back of my mind to do this for this week’s challenge, so when I walked into my room up there on Friday afternoon and the time ‘happened to be’ 3:33, I quickly scattered to find my phone to capture the clock to paint.
Being away from my studio, I took with me my travel set of watercolors (2”x3”), so I enjoyed the challenge of mixing colors from such a limited pallet. Overall, I stayed loose and had fun with this one. It is crazy to me though how I can look at my finished painting and not see things that later pop out to me the moment I look at it through a photograph. So strange. I now see just how downhill the first 3 is. But do you want to know something? I am b-e-g-i-n-n-i-n-g to ‘embrace’ imperfections in my work. Now THAT is progress!!!

Wow Michele this tells me God is always on time. He knows our thoughts. For you to capture 333 on your clock is Gods timing. Another anointing coming to you through your work. Love ya much love aunt cookie
