SPECIFICS

The inside message reads, “’For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son.’ John 3:16 This is Christmas pure and simple.” The Artist Statement (below) is on the back of each card. Printed from Michele’s original watercolor, “Immanuel,” on thick 120# Mohawk Superfine Eggshell paper. Each Christian Christmas card measures 5 x 7 inches. Gold envelopes are included.

ARTIST STATEMENT

(On the back of each card): In God’s sovereign plan, Immanuel came into our world in the humblest circumstances – as a baby born in a stable. It was there that Mary laid her tiny, precious son, Jesus, in a straw-filled trough from which animals ate. This birth of the Son of God in a barn seemed to foretell his life 33 years later. Jesus, sinless Himself, took on the sins of humanity and died on a cross as our sacrifice. But three days later, He rose from the dead. He overcame sin and death, and restored our ability to have a personal relationship with God.

What purpose.  Such obedience.  Amazing Love.

“She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).
